This is a letter I never thought I’d need to write.
It’s quite a shock to me that one year ago this month, on the morning of April 15th, 2024, I received a phone call that would forever change my life.
I had just left the bank and was driving home when I answered the call. The man on the phone then shared the news that would shake me to my core, “We knocked on the hotel door to pick up Brother Jerry and all the luggage, but there was no answer. We unlocked the door and found your husband in the closet, where he was packing his garment bag to come home.”
I was numb. I couldn’t grasp what I was hearing. My world had just been turned upside down.
In an instant, the love of my life was gone. The shock of losing Jerry, my best friend, my husband, was more than I could process.
Later that day, my daughters and I were flown to California, where we were able to see him at the funeral home and say our goodbyes, though it hardly seemed real. Then, as we flew back to Texas, I found myself facing the daunting question, "What now?"
The next morning, as I sat on the edge of my bed in complete disbelief, I thought, "Where do I go from here? What do I do next?"
And then, as if by divine intervention, I looked over at my bedside table. There, right in front of me, the ministry staff had placed the first copy of the brand-new book that Jerry had finished titled, Supernatural Provision for Your Vision.
Right then, I knew that despite the deep grief and the uncertainty, the vision Jerry and I had built together was not over.
In that moment, I consecrated myself once again to the Lord. I raised my hands and said, “Not my will, but Yours be done.”
Now, as I write to you today, I find myself humbly standing in faith, trusting that God will continue the work He began through Jerry’s ministry. For over 55 years, we’ve been serving the Lord, and the message of His love and provision will continue to reach the world.
I can’t do this in my own power. I’m trusting God every single day to guide me, to empower me, and to provide for the vision He has set before us.
God Never Fails
As I reflect on the adventure that Jerry and I walked together, I am reminded of one unshakable truth: God has never failed us. Even in the hardest moments—including Jerry’s passing—His faithfulness remains.
From the very beginning of our ministry, we had to trust God for everything. We had no money, no resources, and (at times) not even food to put on our table. I remember those early days so vividly.
Back then, the late Brother Oral Roberts had a slogan, "Expect a Miracle." If you wrote into his ministry, he would send you a bumper sticker with those words. I needed that reminder so desperately that I wrote in and requested one. When it arrived, I placed it right on the refrigerator door because I had to believe God for the miracle of having food to eat. That’s how much we depended on Him.
And you know what? He never failed us!
All these years, we have lived by faith, trusting God to provide, to open doors, and to fulfill the vision He placed in our hearts. There were times when we didn’t know how we would keep going, but God always made a way. Every step of this adventure of faith has been a testament to His supernatural provision.
I’ll never forget those early days stepping into full-time ministry. I remember the moment Jerry stood before me with tears in his eyes, handing me the last $3 he had before leaving for a ministry trip. It was all he could give, and yet, we both knew that stepping into God’s will meant trusting Him completely.
I also knew that $3 wouldn't be enough to meet my need. So, I took that $3 and, without hesitation, sowed it into the offering at church that night.
After I came home from that service, I reached into my coat pocket, and found a $20 bill that someone had slipped in without me knowing. Back then, $20 was enough to keep food on the table for weeks. In that moment, God was showing me His faithfulness—He will always provide.
That has been the story of our ministry for the past 56 years. Every step we’ve taken, every expansion of this ministry, every soul we’ve reached—it has all been built on faith, trust, and God’s supernatural provision.
As I have moved forward without Jerry this year, I am continuing to hold onto the unchanging promises of God.
Jerry going to heaven has been the hardest thing I’ve ever walked through, but just as God has provided for us time and time again, I know He will continue to lead me, our family, and this ministry forward.
God’s faithfulness does not waver, and His promises do not fail.
That’s why I wanted to write to you personally today. Because just as God has been faithful to me, I know He is faithful to you. No matter what you may be facing, I want to encourage you—God is still your provider. He is still your source. He is still the same miracle-working God, yesterday, today, and forever.
As we continue this journey together, I am believing with you for more of God’s blessing in every area of your life.
Blessed to be a Blessing
Whether it’s spiritual, physical, emotional, or financial, God sees your needs, and He will provide. He never intended for you to just barely get by—His desire is to bless you beyond measure, without limitations!
Ephesians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” Did you catch that? He has blessed you. That’s past tense.
That means the blessing is already upon you! Right now, at this very moment, you are blessed.
Psalm 3:8 reveals, “Thy blessing is upon thy people.” God’s blessing is upon you! Be bold enough to say it out loud, “God, Your blessing is upon me!” When you declare it, you align your faith with His Word, and His blessings begin to manifest in your life in ways you never imagined.
And oh, how great are His blessings! Deuteronomy 28:1-14 lists blessing after blessing that belongs to those who walk in obedience to His Word. Verse 2 says, “And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee.”
• Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field (v.3).
• Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground (v.4).
• Blessed shall be your basket and your store (v.5).
• Blessed shall you be when you come in, and when you go out (v.6).
The list just goes on and on! God spoke these blessings into existence, and because you are an heir to the promise of Abraham, they belong to you. All He asks is that you remain faithful and obedient to His Word.
So today, I want you to lift your head and expect His blessings! Expect supernatural provision. Expect miracles. Expect increase. The same God who has been faithful to me for over five decades is the same God who will be faithful to you.
I want to encourage you today, God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
He is still the God of supernatural provision, the God of open doors, the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way.
Thank you for standing with me and this ministry. Your partnership means more than words can say. I pray that the same faithfulness and favor that has carried us for decades – and especially this past year – will overflow in your life.
I want to encourage you to put your faith into action today. Just like I sowed my last $3 in that offering all those years ago and saw God multiply it, I believe that when you sow in faith, God will bless and multiply your seed. His Word promises in 2 Corinthians 9:8 that He is able to make all grace abound toward you, so that you will have more than enough for every good work.

Carolyn Savelle
