I want to see your faith grow for all that God has for you. That’s why I’ve instructed my staff to send my recent message, Are You Reigning or Just Maintaining, as my thank you when you give this month. Click here now ⟩
How do you experience the extraordinary? How do you leave what’s normal and move into living a supernatural life?
There should be nothing ordinary about your life. As a follower of Christ, you are not called to be “normal.” What is normal for this world should not be normal for you. In fact, why would you want to live like everyone else when they don’t know about true living?
Jesus didn’t die on the cross so you could live an ordinary life!
The words Paul wrote to the believers in Rome reveals that you don’t have to go with the flow and live like the world around you. He wrote in Romans 12:2 in the Message paraphrase,
“Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out.”
The Holy Spirit told me to declare to you today, IT’S TIME TO LEAVE THE NORM!
God’s Word says, “For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one, much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:17).
Did you catch that? You are called to reign in life! What does it mean to reign? It means, 1) to exercise royal authority, power, and dominion, 2) to rule and to prevail, and 3) to prove to be superior.
You are to be superior to coronavirus. You are to be superior to sickness and disease. You are to be superior to lack and insufficiency.
That’s why I’m telling you today, don’t settle for what is normal! I’m here to call you to rise up to all that Jesus has provided for you.
My question to you today is this, “Are you reigning or just maintaining?”
Because of what Jesus did at Calvary, you don’t have to settle for ordinary! You’ve been given power, dominion, and authority over the adversary and you’re never to be under his rule ever again.
What does it mean to maintain? It implies just “holding on.” That’s just the bare minimum to surviving. When you’re maintaining, you can’t give to every good work. Just maintaining means that you can’t be a blessing to your church or support missionaries.
That’s not God’s best for your life. Jesus didn’t give His life so that you would be able to just “hold on.” He gave His life so that you could reign as kings! Don’t let religious thinking or religious tradition rob you of this Scriptural truth. Why settle for that when God says you can reign in life?
Do you have a revelation of just how much power you have through Christ?
I want to help you know deep down in your spirit the power that is made available to you. Ephesians 1:19 in the Amplified says, “So that you can know and understand what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe…”
That’s the kind of power that you have been given!
How do you activate this power in your life? The Passion translation says that this power has been “Made available to you through faith.”
Sadly, many believers today are not experiencing God’s power in their lives because they are not using their faith to declare it or believe for it.
How can you grow and strengthen your faith in this area? Romans 10:17 tells us that faith comes from hearing the Word of God. That’s why I teach God’s Word so boldly. Because I know that if you get His Word in your heart it will transform your life.
God spoke through the prophet Isaiah declaring, “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11).
That means God’s Word is specifically designed to enter your heart and produce results in your life!
How much do you value what God’s Word says?
If I didn’t know the Word, I wouldn’t live in victory. If I didn’t know the Word, I wouldn’t have the faith to overcome every challenge this ministry faces.
Knowing and understanding God’s Word strengthens my faith to reign in life through the finished work of Jesus Christ. And God’s Word will do the same for you!
Declare this over your life today:
I have immeasurable, unlimited, and surpassing power through faith and
I am called to reign in life as a king, in Jesus’ Name!
God wants you to enjoy every benefit and blessing Jesus gave His life for. You have been given the royal authority to exercise dominion over sickness, disease, lack, poverty and want!
Reigning in life means you reach the full potential, enjoying the fullness of your position in Christ.
Reject normal. Refuse to live an ordinary life! Embrace the power and authority available to you through faith in Christ. I wish I had more time to share more of God’s Word with you.
