For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10 NKJV
How do you take advantage of the fullness of salvation—deliverance, victory, healing, wholeness—that Jesus died to give you? By following the biblical pattern set forth in the tenth chapter of the book of Romans.
- First, you believe in your heart that Jesus has given you His righteousness, and that God now sees you every bit as acceptable and holy as Jesus.
- Second, you confess out loud the salvation that you have in Jesus, believing you receive it the moment you ask for it (see Mark 11:24).
Speaking your salvation doesn’t end with making the confession that Jesus is your Lord. The Bible says the person who “does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says” (Mark 11:23). Whenever you have a specific need, you can find the Scripture that pertains to your situation, and then make it a personal confession over your life.
Based on Colossians 1:13, you can confess, “I have been delivered from the power of darkness and have been translated into the kingdom of God’s dear Son. I am free from the power of the devil and free from the power of sin.”
According to 2 Corinthians 5:17, you can declare, “I am in Christ and have become a new person. Old things have passed away and I perceive clearly that all things have become new.”
Begin today to confess out loud your healing, wholeness, deliverance, and victory in Jesus, and enjoy walking in the fullness of the salvation He has already provided for you.
Confession: Having received the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, I now reign in life through Christ Jesus. I use my faith and I walk in His grace. I walk in victory over every negative circumstance in my life.
